Program Evaluation Fits in with Public Policy ?

Program Evaluation as discussed in class has many components and facets. Which one you want to work on and why ?

I have learned through an email on griffin that "Evaluation papers are not for Publishing". Please check the griffin with email heading "Template: Program Evaluation Research Paper".
Please discuss if you have discovered something new in Kellogg Foundation Handbook. I am expecting you to provide me filled templates in next class from that Handbook.

    i want to work on activities approach model. it gives detailed information about every individual activity and event that must take place to keep the program on track. its main emphasis is on the planned work. its main advantage is that it keeps a close watch on individual activity and event. whenever there is distraction from the planned activity, this model keeps it back on track.

    i learn through the evaluation hand book that a program evaluation logic model is a learning and management tool that can be used throughout a program life. we can say that a logic model is a picture of how your program works. and this logic model provides a road map of your program, highlighting how it is expected to work, what activities need to come before others, and how desired outcomes are achieved.

    sir, i want to work on theory logic model.The theory logic model is suitable for use by founders and grantees. This logic logic model provides rich explanation of the reasons for beginning to explore an idea for a given program. And this model also describe the beginning of a program in detail which is most useful during program planning and designing.

    Sir, i also want to work on outcome evaluation logic model. Because this models often subdivide outcomes and impact over time to describe short term , long-term , and impact that may result from a given set of activities.This type displays
    the interrelationships of goals and objectives. This model emphasis on short-term objectives as a way to achieve long-term goals.

    Guys I have an issue with program out put model… every program is a social intervention based on Theory of Change… assessing the change is not an easy task, especially we should not relay on the program reports because they may be in a flattered form to show the grater efficiency of the program..
    Suppose if I am working on Community School Development Program of AKES’P, the evaluation report of the program is prepared by AKES’P not by any third party…
    I have no time to assess the CHANGE by my own so I will go for activities approach model
