Please elaborate and explain your project which you are about to undertake in your Program Evaluation course. Other students please comment and give suggestion. You will be evaluated on your quality of comments.
sir as we were waiting for Islamabad traffic police response but i think they are not efficient enough to respond to our queries. so we will be selecting our individual projects. i have recently found that Mr.Obaid has already worked on Hepatitis program, so i will me changing my project too.
I want to evaluate “NATIONAL TUBERCULOSIS CONTROL PROGRAM”(NTP).
WHO declared TB a global emergency in 1993. Pakistan ranks 6th amongst the countries with a highest burden of TB in the world. Pakistan contributes about 44% of tuberculosis burden in the Eastern Mediterranean Region.
Future Plans • Rehabilitation/ Reconstruction of PHC/TB network • Provision of prefabricated containers • Field supervision visits to verify quality of services • Health education campaign among the community • Establish a referral system between field hospitals/ camps and PHC/TB facilities • Default tracing mechanism
Sir, still I am adamant to evaluate any one program of ITP ISLAMABAD TRAFFIC POLICE, the reason being they claim to be the best around. LET US SEE THEIR CLAIM TO BE WORTH IT OR OTHERWISE. They will be more then willing to see if still there exist some lope holes or grey areas in their ongoing programs, which I and my group mate will be highlighting and indicating to them after a colossal effort and with an inquisitive eye.ITP is not only known for its professional competence at national level, but equally recognized internationally and any such indication of grey area by us, would otherwise contribute towards further enhancing its effectiveness and improving its service to the public. We have so far been able to call on some senior officers of ITP and have fetched some details and looking forward for appropriate time to present it to you sir, probably after your safe return from United States, INSHALLAH.
Sir, another positive development took place today. We visited Mr. Khalid Mansoor, Zonal Head Islamabad, State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, and discussed with him our intentions to evaluate as a policy student, one of their on going programs, to which he and his staff showed gratitude. So we may go for some program of theirs as well.
I will prefer that you guys should take the work with ITP. However, if we are not successful then please go ahead and work with some other organizations. But please keep me posted!
