  2. Response of goals for alternatives can vary from case to case, because efficiency and equity are almost equally discussed while political feasibility and preservation might be or not be applied.
Material in the books is always to support the ideao or theory, it does notmean that we can not think beyond these.

If you come up with an example, i can better comment in that specific context.

  3. @ Taimur,

This depends on what type of alternative you are taking. But as discussed in class by Sir Mohazzam Efficiency, Equity and Political Feasibility are important and can be used almost in all cases.

  4. In our class while discussing the policy alternatives with respect to the criteria. Most of the fellows could not define their criteria. They were totally blind about the meaning of different terms.

    Such as,

Equity: Means Fairness. The point or way where
    everyone is contended.

    Equality: Equal in distribution.

So we can say that the difference between Justice and Equality is the same which is between Equity and Equality.

Equality means division of one thing in equal basis. Where, Justice means the divsion must be made in such a way that everyone is given their due share.

The difference between Effective and Efficient is as mentioned in this link (http://www.robdavispe.com/free2/software-qa-testing-test-tester-2129.html)
